The auspicious occasion of Maha Shiv Raatri was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion by millions in India. Shiv Shakti Kul conducted a YAATRA ( Pilgrimage ) of Nav Naath Mahadev Temples.

Vadodara had been a Princely State before the formation of the Republic Of India after freedom from the British Rule. The then dynasty of Gaekwad Kings were devotees of Bhagavan Shivji and Maa Aadi Shakti. There had been Nine   ('Nav' in Gujarati) special temples of Shivji also called the Greatest Lord (Naath) known as Nav Naath Mahadev Temples built by the then Maharaja Of Vadodara State for the protection of city in the first half of the 19th Century.

In the course of time people had forgotten many of these temples and a very few visited them. In the year 2007 during Shravan Month (August – September) Shiv Shakti Kul released a Video CD with an intention to create an awareness about these temples. Ever after the first release of this VCD there has been a continuously rising number of devotees visiting these temples.

To go further in the line of this “Nav Naath Mahadev” awareness mission for these nine temples of Shivji’s Shiv Shakti Kul organized a YAATRA with the valuable support from VAASTHU ASSOCIATES, a Vaastu Shastra Consultancy Organization headed by the renowned Vaastu Shastri Shri Mahesh Gyani.
